चला वृद्धत्वाला दूर ठेवूयात

लोकमान्य सेवा संघाच्या कै.शरद विनायक साठ्ये वैद्यकीय शाखा आयोजित ‘वृद्धत्व वर्धक आजारावर नियंत्रण’ या विषयावरचे व्याख्यान रविवार दि. २८ मे रोजी झाले. डॉ. भालचंद्र. व. गोखले यांनी किलेशन थेरपी, त्याचे उपयोग, देण्याची पद्धत, प्रचलित अन्जिओप्लास्टी व बायपास सर्जरी या बरोबरची तुलना या विषयी महत्वपूर्ण विवेचन केले. दृक-श्राव्य स्वरुपात हा कार्यक्रम सादर केला गेला. श्रोत्यांच्या अनेक प्रश्नांची त्यांनी समर्पक उत्तरे दिली. या नवीन थेरपी बद्दल सर्वाना फारच कुतूहल वाटत होते. ही थेरपी ते अनेक लोकांना विनामूल्य देतात हे त्यांनी आवर्जून सांगितले.

Late Shri. Sharad Sathye Medical Wing of Lokamanya Seva Sang has organized a lecture of Dr. Bhalchandra .V. Gokhle on ‘Controlling the Process of Aging’- with the help of various methods such as Chelation Therapy, oxygenation and ozone therapy, on Sunday 28th May. It was audio-visual lecture. Dr Gokhle , an ex- IIT ian, talked extensively about the effectiveness of Chelation therapy ( with EDTA , Minerals and Vitamins) against Heart disease, Alzimer and aging process triggered by free radicals etc. he comapred this therapy with Angioplasty and By-Pass operation.

The lecture about this relatively new way of treatment was well received by audience. The question answer session lasted quiet long, showing the interest generated by this informative talk.
